About Us

We have been producing events on energy savings, carbon reduction, water management and corporate sustainability for the last five years. We excel at planning and implementing conference programs that cover complex and timely environmental topics in a format that encourages discussion and furthers policy development and best practice.

Andrew Slavin, Founder

After spending too long in educational establishments, and with a Ph.D. in Astrophysics to his name, Andrew made the career change from astronomy to business conferences in 1999. He has produced successful business-to-business events across the world in telecommunications, broadcasting, financial communications and media. In 2005, while working for IR magazine, he first started to develop events that examined the corporate response to climate change. Working with Green Power Conferences, he created the Corporate Climate Response series of events, helping companies across Europe and the US develop effective responses to the challenges and opportunities of global warming.

Adrienne Baker, Founder

With degrees from McGill and Concordia, Adrienne Baker spent seven years in financial journalism reporting for and editing several publications including Investor Relations Magazine, Corporate Secretary, Communicate Magazine and CEO Magazine. As editor-in- chief of Investor Relations Magazine, Adrienne was increasingly writing about CSR issues and chairing conferences on corporate responses to climate change. That’s when she decided to switch gears and focus entirely on producing sustainability events.
